Diary Writing
Vidyashala has evolved its own diary and diary writing system based on years of experience to suit the needs of students. The special diary is called "My Educational Profile". This book specifies eleven imperative needs of education and gives an explanatory note on each of them. Students are enabled to understand these needs and realise them in their daily experiences. Check lists are provided in the diary to enable the students to examine their own experiences. The diary also includes Swami Vivekananda's words of inspiration, Personal Profile, Grades in progress report, class room attention record, annual calendar, record of library, literary and sports performance and achievement record. There are graph sheets to record their marks obtained in tests and examinations in each subject during the term. Every day, five minutes are reserved for diary writing. The diaries are regularly checked and there is a section-wise prize for the best diary.
