Play Grounds and Gymnasium
The Vidyashala has a total of 19 play grounds, 1 stadium and a gymnasium. Students are allotted to various play grounds. The playing hours are between 5:00 pm & 6:00 pm on week days and between 7:30 am & 9:00 am on Sunday mornings and between 4:30 pm & 5:45 pm on Sunday evenings. The students have to play in their respective grounds only and are not expected to change their play grounds without prior permission. However, on Sunday mornings, they are allowed to play the game of their choice.
The Vidyashala Gymnasium was inaugurated in 1983 by Sri Balaram Jakhad, the erstwhile Speaker of the Lok Sabha. It has got courts for table tennis and badminton (wooden floored). It also has a body building unit where selected boys may do their daily body building exercies. It also has facilities for gymnastic exercises like roman rings, horizontal bars, trampoline and vaulting horse.
